Question: Who owns Javalina's?
After five years of owning and operating a coffee shop, booking and hosting most of Tucson's best musicians, and working a day job at IBM throughout 2008, Javalina's owner, Bonnie Vining, decided to separate the
business into two separate pieces, the restaurant piece and the music piece.
On December 15, 2008, the coffee shop, located at 9136 E. Valencia in the Rita Ranch area of Tucson, was sold to Java Edge.
Bonnie Vining has started a non-profit called Live Acoustic Venue Association (LAVA). Please visit the new LAVA Website.
Bonnie still owns the Javalina's
name in case she decides to enter another commercial music venture down the road.
